Eternity

I lie awake in bed all night and pray,
That you will think of me.
I cry until my eyelids close,
And dream of eternity.
I wake to sunlight on my face,
For a moment I forget.
Then a cloud passes by,
And I realize this is it.
I carry on throughout the day,
Feigning joy and feeling pain.
I long to gaze upon your face,
And share a smile,
An embrace.
The day is drawing to an end,
and still I think of you.
I try to relax,
Yet in my mind,
I wonder what to do.
So now I lay me down to sleep,
and pray the lord my soul to keep.
And should you chance to think of me,
Know that I’ll love you eternally.

What are we?

What would you call this?
This thing we’re wrapped up in.
Some would call it love. Others lust.
A thing of beauty.
A fusion of two souls, Into one body.
Together for an eternity,
Always.

The only two people like us.
I for you,
And you’re for me.
Molded in perfection for each other.
What are we? Made from fear,
Fear of loneliness.
Or forged in courage,
To shield us from our own monster.
There’s no describing how you make me feel…

Welcome

Welcome to my world
A universe of feelings
A solar system of emotion
All that I am is all over.
Everything that is within me fills the air.

My passion is what inflates the clouds
Gives them their loft
Keeps them afloat.
Gives them the ability to be lighter than air.
Just how I'm feel when I with you.

Joy is the grass beneath me.
The sweet softness under my feet.
It envelops my being
Keeps me sane.

Sadness is the rain.
How it pours over me
And covers all in sight
There is no escaping it
No umbrella to hide under

The hatred inside me is what fills the core
A burning fire in the center of it all.
An inferno at the root of this place.
Its this feeling that is what balances it out
For every one there are two
For every yin
There is a yang

This planet would be nothing without me
A barren wasteland
Empty of any sustenance
Nothing but dirt
For I am this place
What gives it worth
I am it
And it is me

Gone

Saying goodbye is always the hardest part
Letting go is never easy
Losing the one you love.
Seeing them run away
Far from where you are
The aftermath is even worst
It seems everyone is in love
Everyone but you
They all seem happy
U see her everywhere
She clouds your thoughts
She was your everything
Your whole life
And she left you with nothing
Standing in the wind
With nothing to hold

Of course it was you
Its never her fault
You went and fucked it up
Said something once too many times
Did one thing too wrong
And now its too late
She’s gone

There's this one i can't have
She's just out of reach.
So very far away
Further than i can go
I can see her
And i know where she's at
I've seen what she is
But I can't get to her

I want to be with her
Hold her in My arms
Feel her body against mine
Feel our souls touching
I want to know what its like
To have someone care as much as I do
Know how it feels to be...

What I see

I see this girl
Right here in front of me
She's the light that shines upon my world
But she cant see what i see

I look at her face
And see all that she has
Everything that she has felt
How her face makes her who she is
But still,
She cant see what i see

I see beauty in its purest form
She is its definition
She truly radiates it.
But yet,
She cant see what i see

That blush on her cheeks
Is her sexiness burning through
Screaming to the surface
Trying to get out
But she wont let it
She still,
Cant see what i see

Nothing

I stand here on the edge of this cliff
Looking down at the waste land below me
I see the cities burning
The smoke rising from the burning buildings that once ruled this landscape
The children weeping over the bodies of their parents that live no more
I can hear
FEEL their sorrow echoing across the valley
The desolation that covers the land after another cool summer night
This was once happy place that shined as the heart of America
I know who did this
But i dont know why they did it
There is nothing here
Like many other cities like it
The slate is wiped clean
Nothing left to rebuild
Only a place to start again
What have i done?
