Nothing

I stand here on the edge of this cliff
Looking down at the waste land below me
I see the cities burning
The smoke rising from the burning buildings that once ruled this landscape
The children weeping over the bodies of their parents that live no more
I can hear
FEEL their sorrow echoing across the valley
The desolation that covers the land after another cool summer night
This was once happy place that shined as the heart of America
I know who did this
But i dont know why they did it
There is nothing here
Like many other cities like it
The slate is wiped clean
Nothing left to rebuild
Only a place to start again
What have i done?
